Favorite/Worst Musical Cliches?
One thing I'm finding with a lot of Japanese music is songs often zig when you expect them to zag. This trait I'm becoming quite fond of, because it keeps songs interesting.

That's a fairly common descriptor I've heard in Japanese music. Pretty much when you expect a song to go in a certain way, it goes in a different direction. Expect a chorus to come, a different segment comes in, etc.
