[Gothic/Symphonic] Eri Kitamura (喜多村英梨)
喜多村英梨 (Eri Kitamura) is a Japanese seiyuu, singer and former child actress. She is well known for voicing prominent roles in anime, such as: Blood+ (2005), Toradora! (2008) and Puella Magi Madoka Magica (2011). In addition, she has provided the voice for Vocaloid CUL-REBIRTH.

She debuted musically on the Pony Canyon label with the single Before the Moment in 2004, moved to Lantis in 2008 with the single REALIZE and then to King Records in 2011 with the single Be Starters!. While on King Records, she released two full-length albums, RE;STORY in 2012 and 証×明 -SHOMEI- in 2014 and a number of singles.

After two years of absence from music, she made her comeback on stage as a singer at Shanghai's Amazing Soul Fes 2016. She then transferred to TMS Music to release her mini album Revolution 【re:i】 in 2017.

(2017) Revolution 【re:i】 (PV)

(2014) 証×炎 -SHOEN- (PV)

(2011) Be Starters! (Live)

(2004) Before the Moment (PV)

I didn't realize she was around that long. I randomly discovered her when Disk Union's metal department tweeted something about her latest CD. I assumed it would be something similar to Mai Yajima and I guess I was close. I actually didn't like the lead PV initially, but it grew on me. Her MCD is one of my more pleasant surprises this year (I actually liked it a shade more than Mai Yajima's latest MCD).

Wonder which part? Will have to replay my DVD and try to guess now!
Yeah I dunno about the older stuff (although the 2014 song sounded pretty good), but her new mini-album was really pleasant all around. That was a nice surprise, no doubt.

If you feel like spoiling the surprise, she does
Ami's voice.

Kitamura is a very talented voice actor. Definitely one of the upper tier ones imo.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying the new mini album as well. It's easily one of my favorite releases so far in 2017.

I also like those two full-lengths, but they're not something I'd recommend to people on a metal focused forum.
Is her second album like that Shoen PV? Because I could totally get into that one no problem. If her first album is like the "Be Starters" song though, I would definitely pass on that.
