Loudness - Rise to Glory (January 26, 2018)
#11
Their early albums were also pretty progressive-sounding. Check out "To Be Demon". The recent albums are enjoyable, but it's really all about everything up to and including Hurricane Eyes, with the 1992 self-titled album also thrown in to complete that perfect group of ungodly albums.

Also, Sabbrabells has songs structured that way, such as "Kagamibari no Heya". You'll now have an excuse to get into more old school heavy metal bands. Wink

Yeah early Loudness was quite proggy. I doubt if this will be in line with that, but I'm still curious. I was underwhelmed with their last album, so it's probably good that they shake things up a little.

Dang it, that song didn't sound half bad. I'll keep them in the back of my mind lol.

I think Loudness could seriously reinvent themselves well without losing their identity, going in a bit of a similar direction to Saber Tiger. They've always had the technical ability to pull off some crazy complex music, I think their current sound would fit well into that kind of a progressive heavy metal style.
