[Neoclassical] Fury of Fear / Demon's Eye
#1
I see both Fury of Fear and Demon's Eye as guitarist Ayumu Nishimura's projects, and as neither of the two bands have the much of a discography to speak of, they'll both be discussed exclusively in this thread. You can try to order Fury of Fear's CDs through this form, and the band does answer e-mails.

I checked out Fury of Fear a few months ago, and I liked what I heard. Very much so inspired by and even similar to the likes of Ark Storm, Concerto Moon, Precious, Galneryus, Moon Struck, Kelly Simonz's Blind Faith, Gunbridge, Alhambra, and so on. Unfortunately, YouTube doesn't have much by way of unedited studio versions of songs, so live shots will have to do for now. Fans of Heaven's Tragedy, another very young band, would dig this.

I got the (self-titled) Demon's Eye album and it's very nice neoclassical stuff in a similar vein, though maybe with a keys a bit more prominent, which isn't really surprising as they have a full time organist. Actually he's the only other member of the band apart from Ayumu now as they lost their vocalist earlier this month:

Ayumu is Mamoru's older brother and doubles up as a bassist for Fury of Fear as well as lead guitars for Demon's Eye. Not sure in FoF vocalist Naoto is also related. The Demon's Eye CD is available from SA Music, who take Paypal and Ryo there can communicate perfectly well in English.

Did you try to order the CD´s from the band?

Today the manager answered me.

For 3 CD´s (total of 4500 Yen) he wanna have around 13.500 Yen including shipping. WTF?!?!?

Wow 9000 Yen just for shipping, that´s..... I don´t know Big Grin Big Grin

I´ve told him that 3 CD´s by registered airmail are around 1200 Yen to Germany.
Will see what he´ll answer me.

Maybe he never sent anything overseas.

If he still wanna have 9000 Yen for the shipping..... well I had a good life without the CD´s for now and I´ll have one in the future without them.

I could ask Riu from SA Music to order them for me but I don´t like to support such a manager.

But hey, maybe he really has no idea about shipping costs.
I´ll update you what he´ll answer me.

Looks like Tadahiko Chida of Dead Eyed Spider (not a band I'm familiar with, but they seem to have been around a while and have a few releases out) is covering as Demon's Eye's vocalist at their next outing:

Fury of Fear have a couple more live numbers up:

Not sure who their bassist is here:

Crimzon Flare's vocalist guests on this one:

I have the 'Beginning of' collection and 'Tales of the End of the World' on order now. Is there anything worth getting on the first three disks not on these, do you think?

How did you order them?
The manager told me he can send me the CD's for a total of 1500 Yen shipping costs (after my not so friendly answer about the first shipping costs ) but they just accept bank transfer.
So I am going to ask Ryo from SA music to pay for me.
But if there's another way I would do so.
You used a shipping agent?

Ah shit, SA Music has some Fury of Fear CDs listed, but they're all sold out. Disk Union still has a couple though.
