The Translation Requests Thread
#1
Since Billm99uk has been selfless with posting translations of interviews, reviews, and other articles here, I thought that I'd start a thread for making requests on his behalf. It's highly recommended that you provide all scans, links, and other sources of information. I just ask not to overload him with work, because it can take some time to get through each article. He may not be able to translate lyrics.

(Fuyusuru Neko's breakup notice)

Notice from Fuyusuru Neko
Thank you for always supporting Fuyusuru Neko.
In January 2017, Sahara decided to withdraw from Fuyusuru Neko.
I have had repeated discussions with members and staff many times, but this time we reached the conclusion in a form that respects Sahara’s will.
So, with the withdrawal from Sahara, Fuyusuru Neko enters a pause of indefinite inactivity
I am sorry to all of the fans who cheered us on and I apologize from the bottom of my heart that it will be a great inconvenience for everyone concerned.
Each member will proceed on a different path, but we will always thank you for your support.
—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—
To everyone who has always supported us, and was looking forward to a new Fuyusuru Neko-like amusement to receive, I am very sorry to make such announcement.
I, Sahara will withdraw from Fuyusuru Neko in January 2017.
As soon as I came to Tokyo, I got acquainted with Yagawa and we worked together. It was a lot of fun and exciting when Omi joined also so there were three people to promote the growth of Fuyusuru Neko.
While writing an album, traveling around on tour and spending a lot of time on Fuyusuru Neko, I felt that our aims were gradually deviating, but it is an important band that took on a life of its own and above the fans were waiting so I thought that I would like to continue somehow.
However, in July, when Omi pulled out, trying out activities with the support members, I realized the clearly the difference in direction between Kagawa and I, I can’t make good music by deceiving myself anymore and to continue music I decided to withdraw because I thought that I would betray everyone otherwise.
Thank you so much for loving Fuyusuru Neko until now.
The music we created in my time spent in Fuyusuru Neko is irreplaceable.
I would be pleased if you could continue to support Fuyusuru Neko, Ichiru Kagawa, Omi, and Sahara from now.
Well then until the day we meet again.
<Sahara>
—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—
To everyone who supported Fuyusuru Neko, I'm really sorry for such an announcement.
I am sorry that I greeted this day.
I was told that of the withdrawal by Mr. Yagashira who was going to renew Fuyusuru Neko with a new drummer.
We have repeatedly talked to each other over and over really, but her intention to withdraw has not changed, and I decided to accept the bitter decision.
I am full of guilt in making such an announcement in this form without standing in front of everyone.
Sahara and I had a long time together with my predecessor band, and Fuyusuru Neko for a really long time too.
I cannot remember a lot of time other than being in a band .
Sahara’s direction is different, but none of that is important, she is like a part of my body.
You chose me as a bassist and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for travelling so far together.
And I love all the cats who supported the floating cat very much, you’re all very important to me.
This feeling will not change for a long time.
Because of everyone’s smiles and warm words, so I think I was able to travel all the way to this point.
I laughed a lot. You us one together many times.
Thank you, truly.
I'm really thankful to you.
And I cannot really thank enough all the production staff concerned who made Fuyusuru Neko together.
Thanks to everyone who helped make it possible to convey strongly the ideals of the floating cat’s world view.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Fuyusuru Neko will be suspended indefinitely from has today's date.
But I'm happy if the music that Fuyusuru Neko made will be living forever in you all.
Thank you so much for loving Fuyusuru Neko.
Until the day I can meet again with everyone someday with a smiley face.

Thanks for the translation!

Its strange, Omi left the band due to health reasons...

I guess musical differences makes sense here though. They both had pretty different compositional styles, but I felt that contrast was a strength as opposed to a detriment. Ichiru already has a new band in the works and an announcement is pending soon. Sahara has something going on with that "Cute Girls Live ~Road to NAONのYAON2017" thing.

I didn't release they had a band before Fuyusuru Neko - I wouldn't mind hearing some of that.

Nah, that's Oni you're thinking of. Omi was Fuyusuru Neko's drummer. Exist Trace's guitarist has the same name too, different person of course.

I think the Japanese music industry can be quite demanding when it comes to popular acts. Especially if they're reasonably attractive.

I see you aren't familiar with the infamous Japanese cold.
Occasionally, I write music reviews.
